Lady Justice deals with the relation between justice and art. In today’s turbulent world , artists are often commissioned by art institutions to create their works as political acts. Claiming social and political justice through the apparatus of theater, is literally questioned in this piece, by brining fictive juridical case outside of the court into the context of theater. This performance is based on the lyrics by Nina Simone’s song “I wish I knew how it would feel to be free”.
